I found this shoe cubby to be easy, if time consuming to put together (I did not require a rubber mallet as one reviewer said they did). Careful attention to the instructions must be made.
It's sturdy, with plenty of room for my shoes. (The individual spaces are around the size of an average shoebox. Adult shoes will not fit side by side, but then, neither can they fit that way in most shoeboxes.)

I bought the pink and purple, and I interchanged the colors, so it looks FANTASTIC! It's also very sturdy and practical to use but easy to take apart for moving. It's wonderful that you can customize the dimensions and put it anywhere!Customer Review: Nice idea

The customizable shoe cubby is a great idea and works very well. However it was extremely difficult to put together. The individual pieces were not always square and just did not fit together very well. And the connectors had to be pounded into place. It was a bit annoying to put together, but was perfect color-wise for my toddler's 'boy' room. I would not consider this a good solution for adult shoes, however; for a kids room and a mom who buys too many shoes for her little one, it is the perfect fit.
