I'm a big fan of flashlights (what guy isn't?) and this one gets top marks for versatility. You can put it in the pen loop of most backpacks and bags, so it's always handy. I have a couple of these lights, one in each bag I carry regularly, and I use them often because they're right at hand. My high-dollar Surefire lights, on the other hand, are usually at home when I'm dressed for business.
Quality is top-notch. The barrel is metal and very durable. The switch can be used for either momentary light or click on/off. (It baffles me that many lights don't have proper switches that allow for momentary use.) It takes normal batteries, the LED will last forever... what's not to like?
Brightness is above-par given the size of the light. It's not a tactical light, but it's still plenty of light for most any utility work. Beam is even, no dark spots. Color temperature is on the cool side (typical for LEDs), I'd estimate 6,500K.
Overall, for an "always on you" light, this is the one. Leave your mini-mags in the car or toolbox. For a tactical light stick with the 6V lithium, 100+ lumen Surefires and similar.

Handy light. Slim design fits most pockets and purses. Uses two AAA batteries that you can find anywhere. Lasts about 7 to 8 hours. Push button for momentary light; push harder to lock on and turn off. No twisting, can be easily operated with one hand.

I had received one of these flashlights for use in my profession as a boiler inspector. It has worked well for most daily external inspections where viewing nameplates and stampings require a bright enough light, but also has the smallness to fit into a shirt pocket for ease of carrying. I did lose it however in the driveway after a fairly large snowstorm and figured I'd find it in the spring thaw. I bought a second one on amazon.com as the first one had worked well. My wife found the first one in the middle of the driveway about a month later (after other snowfalls and multiple trips in and out of the driveway). No damage and it still works fine. I have not replaced the batteries yet either and have used it for almost a year on mostly a daily basis. works great for my needs.Customer Review: Flashlight

Since I'm a medical student, I've bought this flashlight as a "penlight"..
At the beginning I thought I would've left every patient I had blinded, since the LED is VERY, VERY bright.. enough to cause a very disconforting halo in the visual area, but I solved the problem, very easily.. NOT TO STARE DIRECTLY AT THE BRIGHT POINT..!
Pupilary reflexes are very noticeable even with an angular incidence of the pupilae, and it's also a great flashlight in the night.. :)
