As a first year medical student, I was told to go out and purchase a pen light for physical exams. After reading some reviews, I decided on this one. I have had this flashlight for a about 4 months now, which i use for work and personal use, and I'm still on the original battery, and beam is still bright as ever. I use it about 5-10 minutes a day on average.
1. Very very bright for such a small flashlight. About 15x brighter than my old 2xAA mag-light. And the light is a nice white light.
2. Batteries last a very long time. Maybe 10x longer than my old 2xAA mag-light.
3. Beam can still be seen around from around 150ft away in complete darkness.
3. Comes with a lanyard to go around your neck.
For a QUICK EASY FIX to the clip problem of scratching the frame while unscrewing, as soon as you get the flashlight, SLIGHTYLY BEND THE TIP OF THE CLIP BACK 1mm, to where it doesn't MAKE CONTACT WITH THE FLASHLIGHT.

This light is awesome! It is very small and very bright. Brighter than a AA Mini-Mag Light and 1/3 the size. Powered by 1 AAA battery and not much bigger. I am very happy with this flashlight. The only negative is that when unscrewing the battery compartment, you need to put a piece of paper under the clip or you will scratch the black finish as the clip rotates around the body of the light. If you are looking of a easy to carry utility light, you will not do better than this.
