I just received my Streamlight Microstream the day before Thanksgiving. It came in a blister tester pack where you could momentary press the light to test it. It also came with a break-a-way lanyard. The Lanyard came with a little metal O-Ring to attach to the metal pocket clip of the flashlight, I didn't like the way it attached so I used the lanyard string itself to attach to the clip, it's much better and now it wont rub on the coating of this little jewel. The coating is a military non-reflective black drab finish, Similar finish on some military weapons. The metal pocket clip is very sturdy and part of the shaft of the light. It will rub a ring in the finish of the light taking the battery access on/off. You can avoid this by pulling slightly up on the clip as you screw it on/off, it's easy after you do it a couple of times. I cannot begin to express myself on how impressed I am with this light. For as little as it is, it has en extremely bright white output. I would say it's at least as bright as my Maglight 3D Cell. It can light my entire apartment where I can see into the other rooms clearly with all the lights off. The switch is very solid, it takes effort to turn it on constant. This is a feature intended to ovoid accidental activation. I purchased this light for my Medical Bug-Out Kit because of it's size and it can be worn around the neck without weighing you down and could be held in the mouth. Now that I have seen it first hand and how well crafted it is, I will be buying more of these and the Stylus Pro for myself and as Christmas presents. If you are looking for a gift for a Dude, this is it. Trust me, any real Dude digs things like this and it is something he will use daily. Also, when you first get your light the threads will be dry. Use a very small amount of gun oil to condition the threads and O-Rings. This is a great product, thank you Streamlight!Customer Review: Awesome little flashlight!

I came across this flashlight and took a chance and bought it. I work in EMS and it is It's small, fits in a side pocket of my pants, and is incredibly bright. It doesn't get smoking hot when it's been on for a while. I would HIGHLY recommend.Customer Review: Bad Switch!

This light is the best in its class.
I bought four different brands based on reviews, in hopes of finding a gem in the bunch.
This light was the best of the breed of mini-flashlights.
The light is the brightest single cell LED that I have seen.
It is tough and you can use the button on the back, or just use the "twist" method to turn it on and off.
It is very very bright (again) for such a small light, and there is a lens covering the LED.
Some lights, like the Fenix brand light have no lens protecting the LED. So, the Streamlight brand is preferred by me personally.
