In searching for a bright, smallish flashlight, my main concern was battery life. What good is it to have a good bright light that only last a few hours? This light is very bright, but has one of the longest battery lives I have ever seen. Make sure that the light you choose isn't going to cost you a small fortune in batteries over the next year. I highly reccomend the Streamlight 68200. I even gave one to my Mom, only the best will do!
