I just received this item, so I can't speak for its longevity, but it puts out an incredible amount of light, and to top it off, it's so tiny and cute! I turned it on thinking it would cast a small dot of light across the room, but instead it casted a pretty decent size circle of light. In fact, while my house was dark, I shined it down my stairwell, and it lit up the entire stairwell. I read the other reviews, and whether it's a real "Nano" or not, is of no consequence to me. I've wanted a key chain light for awhile, and saw the "cheaper" ones on amazon, but decided on this. Streamlight is a popular name and this thing looked plenty small enough. A little more than I figured I'd spend on a key chain light but I figured why not? I was totally blown away. The build quality is excellent, the light is extra bright for it's size, no special batteries, and it's TINY... probably a hair over an inch long and about 3/8 inch thick at the battery and 5/8 at the head. I didn't think I'd use it as much as I do... it's been super handy. I keep this on my key chain with a Spyderco Honeybee and a p38 can opener.Customer Review: Almost a great keychain flashlight

This is a very bright, very small flashlight. The only downside is the slightest pressure against either end of the barrel will turn the light on - not good on a key chain shoved in a pant pocket.Customer Review: Amazing amount of light for a tiny little thing!

Gave this to my wife for Christmas as a stocking stuffer - we have kind of a running flashlight joke around our house. Both of us were totally blown away by the amount of light it produces, it's easily brighter than your average AA maglite or similar flashlight. It's tiny too, I clipped it to a wallet that I got her (the 'real' present) and it's almost unnoticed hanging there. I'm going to order one for my own keychain now.
