Customer Review: Awesome little light - easy to fix the "come apart" issue.

I bought a couple of these for stocking stuffers, knowing that I'd be putting one in my own stocking... :-)
The first thing I noticed was that the head turns way to easily. Reading the other reviews confirms that mine wasn't a fluke. Anyway, anybody who does any sort of mechanical work knows about Lok-Tite. Clean the threads, the apply a couple drops of red Lok-Tite on the threads and screw it back together. Once it dries, it creates enough friction on the threads to "fix" the issue of it coming apart on its own.
Other than that - this light is smaller and brighter than I had expected. I have several LED lights, including some high-end Fenix units, and while this light isn't brighter, it still impressed me. The price can't be beat either, and if you buy some high-end replacement batteries on eBay, you'll be set for a long time to come. All in all, this makes an excellent EDC light.

After owning this I will never go back to having those small flat push button key chain lights. Because this light is activated by turning the head you can lock it from turning on accidently by turning it in the opposite direction. Streamlight is a well known and reliable manufacturer of lighting products. This will be the last keychain light you will ever need.Customer Review: Best lil light EVER

I was looking for a replacement to my mini-maglight flashlight I lost. The nanolight is smaller and brighter than my maglight. Don't know how long the battery of light bulb will last but that wasn't a feature high on my list. Only negative I can think of is that this requires 3 (wristwatch type) batteries that I'm guessing will be more expensive than AAA batteries. If your looking for an alternative to mini-maglight thats brighter and smaller.... highly recomend it!
