Tools and Hardware Reviews of Streamlight 73001 Nano Light Miniature Keychain LED Flashlight, BlackCustomer Review: Big light in a tiny package Summary: 5 Stars
Other flashlights with bright beams are cumbersome. This one is so tiny and extremely useful. Easily fits on your keychain.
Customer Review: Big little light Summary: 5 Stars
This is a keychain flashlight. It has unbelievably bright light coming from a lipstick sized body. It seems durable and, if so, is a real handy companion.
Customer Review: Bright Flashlight! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this little flashlight! I do wish that it had a button rather than a twist-to-turn on feature. Regardless, it produces a clear white light which is definitely bright enough for ANY application.
Customer Review: Bright Light - Comes apart too easily Summary: 3 Stars
UPDATE: After having this for several months, I am no longer a fan.
As a keychain light that twists on, it is not very well designed. When in a bag or pocket, it easily opens and the batteries spill out. There is only one way each of the 5 batteries goes in. I finally gave up on it as I got tired of putting it back together.
This light is very small, 1.5 digits of my pinkie finger, and very lightweight, equivalent to a coin.
This puts out more light than a few of my old headlamps, and it is the smallest and lightest weight item on my keychain.
For the price, you can not beat the value of this light.
Customer Review: Bright Light from nano size Summary: 3 Stars
This tiny light produces much more light than you would expect - easily enough to light your path at night. My problem with it is that it is somewhat impractical to carry in your pocket on your key ring.
The issue is the lack of a real on/off switch. To turn the light on and off one simply screws or unscrews the head of the flashlight onto its body. Fail to unscrew it enough and jostling in your pocket will turn it on and run down the batteries. I unscrewed it just a little too much and while in my pocket the head came off of the body, leaving me with a pocket full of parts and batteries. Lately I have been putting a piece of tape across the head and body to try to keep it from coming apart in my pocket. Certainly a better solution by streamlight would be some sort of detents so that the head would better stay in place.
Overall though it works well for a good price.
