I've waited till I had this light a few months before reviewing. This thing is insanely bright for its size. I use it all the time and the batteries haven't run out. It is attached to my big ole chunk of keys that get dropped and abused quite frequently and it has held up really well. It is actually still (mostly) black in color instead of having had all the paint rubbed off.
Very cool light, and makes a great gift because it is inexpensive for you, but whoever gets it will find that is really does come in handy. Get someone something they'll actually use! Everyone needs a flashlight, not everyone wants to carry a maglite in their pocket but almost everyone has a keyring that they carry with them every day. This thing is lightweight, unobtrusive and TINY.

Worked as described but unfortunately after about three weeks it worked itself apart and went into pieces one night when I got out of the vehicle. Not made very sturdy and since losing most of this item I purchased a nice Pelican (who does all of my other larger duty lights) L1 I think it is. Not only is it brighter than the Streamlight but also at least 5x more durable.

For a mini flashlight that cost around 10 bucks I would hope that I would get better use from it but it died before I could even give it a second turn.
The good thing about this mini flash light is that it's very bright. No doubt about it.
The bad thing about this flashlight is that the cap that you twist to turn it on can twist itself off just by leaving it in your pocket and have all the batteries fall out or even worse, it turns itself on and completely kills the batteries.
I had this flashlight for a week and was happy when I first used it and saw how bright it lights up a dark room, but only after a week, only using the flashlight only once, it died on me because the flashlight turns itself on in my pocket with out me knowing about it. I usually keep my keys exclusively in my left pocket and my cell phone on my right. I only keep one house, one car key, and the flashlight on my key chain and it still gives me trouble. Good luck for other people who keep more items in there pocket.
