Customer Review: A Great Flashlight!
Summary: 5 Stars
I was issued a Stinger in my former career and was really impressed by it's brightness and compact size. When I resigned I hated to give up the light because of how nice they are. I always intended to purchase my own but delayed doing so. They typically cost about $130.00 or more online and in retail stores. Luckily, I came across the excellent price Amazon offers on it. Here are what I rate as its pros and cons:
Pros:
1. Bright 125 Lumens output
2. Rechargeable
3. Compact size at 7.38"
4. Comes with both AC and DC chargers and respective cords
5. Limited lifetime warranty, except for chargers, batteries and bulbs.
6. VERY durable
Cons:
1. The standard charger takes about 10 hours to charge the light (2 for fast charge)
2. The charger cradles can wear out, like it did on my work light, but I simply used the second cradle and never had a problem with it.
I highly recommend the Stinger.

Streamlight's Stinger is designed for use by law enforcement officers. As you might expect for a flashlight intended for this kind of use, it puts out a lot of light-the powerful xenon bi-pin bulb gives you up to 125 lumens. Plus, you can easily customize the beam from spot to flood via the focus mechanism. As an added bonus, the Stinger is rechargeable, and will give you up to one hour of continuous use from a single charge. The flashlight comes with a 120V AC charge cord, a 12V DC charge cord, two charger holders, and a spare bulb (which is stored onboard in the tail-cap).
