You won't be disappointed. I work at a mine and these are very rugged and unbelievably bright. If they can survive this environment they will last a lifetime at home. I think they claim a 2 hour run time. I would guess it is more like half that on the brightest setting which is respectable regardless. We use the strobe feature for checking moving conveyor rollers for wear spots. They project a bright beam that reaches about 1/4 mile in the woods/fields. They work nice.Customer Review: Disappointed

Bought this to use as a duty light. The first issue was the switch. If the light was bumped, the switch would go on and it couldn't be shut off, with out unscrewing the battery cover, and breaking the connection. Then it would get stuck in the strobe mode. Then the rubber cover to the side switch came out and I found it on the ground next to the car. And it is pretty much impossible to put back into the light. It's bright, but not nearly what I expected. I since purchased a Surefire G3, which is brighter and more compact, with no switch issues. I also have never found an actual use for the strobe. I have owned several Streamlights, most of which still work, but I wanted to change over to the LED. Perhaps later versions of this light will be better.Customer Review: Durable long life light that's right for the price

Being a former police officer I'm use to using and actually abusing a flashlight. This light is more than bright, lightweight easy to use, rechargeable and long lasting with the LED light source. It's also compact and easier to carry around than some other models requiring 3 or 4 D cells. And on occasions when a light has to be used for more than average periods of time it won't become too heavy and or bulky. I'm very impressed with the product as well as the speed and service with which it was delivered.Customer Review: Great Gift

This is a great flashlight! The LED is brilliant white and very bright. It takes some getting used to changing the intensity (press and hold), and the strobe feature is great for "stunning" someone for just long enough to take control of the situation.
The fact that it is rechargeable is amazing! No more dead batteries when you need your light!
