I bought this electric throw for my 78 year old mother who often gets cold. I received it in the mail yesterday. At first glance and touch, it oozed the word 'quality.' My mom tested this throw last night. It did warm her. She said it's wonderful. Just testing - another throw on top of this one made it too warm for her. I tested it tonight to see if I wanted to get one for myself. I get nowhere near as cold as she does. I'm not yet 50. In short, I think this throw is awesome. I felt it start heating right away. After 10 minutes or so, I had to switch from High to low, without stopping at medium. It's on low right now and feels great. It's not extremely cold in Virginia yet. I will be buying one for me as soon as I finish writing this review. I am also going to buy one for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. She also stays cold. I think the size is perfect for a throw. It is long enough (I'm 5' 4") with several inches to spare. I like the built in auto-shut-off (after 3 hours) because my mom falls asleep alot. Now, I don't have to worry about her falling asleep with it turned on. It comes with a clear plastic drawstring bag for storage when not in use. The throw and storage bag look like they should last for a few seasons. Even on low, it's getting toasty here ...Customer Review: Lovely electric throw

This arrived a few days ago and I have been using it nearly every night. The ease of use is a plus and so far so good. It keeps me so nice and warm at night and that is exactly why I needed to get it.
