I bought this for my girlfriend as a gift and she loves it! I really like it too. The blanket is really soft, but this type of electric blanket uses wires sandwiched between the fabric layers, which you can feel rather easily. However, considering the price of this product the embedded heating wire design is to be expected. I have seen a medical heating/cooling blanket that circulates a fluid for heat transfer, but it was a couple hundred dollars. The on-off controller has a nice minimalist design, with one button that you push one, two or three times to adjust the heat setting. If you are considering this blanket... don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed. I was hesitant because I wasn't sure about purchasing a product I couldn't examine first hand. This blanket is everything I had hoped for. It is soft and big enough to cover me comfortably.(bigger than I expected) There are three heat settings and it turns off automatically. I bought this heated throw for my mother as a birthday gift. Being on a fixed income and an older widow she said she really loves the comfort she gets from the blanket during the day and night in the cold and humid weather she lives in and it is perfect for lots of temp ranges by using it with or without turning the blanket on as needed. Great product, fast shipping and good value.
