Tools and Hardware Reviews of Super-Bright 9 LED Heavy-Duty Compact Aluminum Flashlight - Jet BlackCustomer Review: Does not work Summary: 1 Stars
Do not buy. This does not work. Tested batteries and they each had a full charge-so it's not the batteries which are at fault
Customer Review: Doesn't cost much or do much Summary: 1 Stars
This baby sure was cheap, in both senses of the word. It doesn't project light at all. It may be good for finding keys in a purse, but don't count on it to shine more than 6 inches...not worth the price.
Customer Review: Don't underestimate this little flashlight Summary: 5 Stars
This is one bright light. Three AAA batteries and you're ready to light up the darkest corner. Go ahead and drop it; you won't hurt it. The housing is not plastic, and the LEDs won't break. I bought one for each member of my family, then bought another 10 for the car, shed, and toolboxes. This is way too handy not to have nearby. I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: Excellent Light Summary: 4 Stars
Small size, rugged aluminum case, VERY bright, and a switch that is hard to turn on by accident. This thing is almost perfect. When on in the pitch dark of the woods, I could see about 20-30 feet with a similar amount width wise (at its widest). It comes with a handy dandy wrist strap and batteries (which you should prob swap for some name brand).
My only gripe is I've experienced the "intermittent" lighting issue where the spring has trouble connecting to the battery. A quick smack/shake cured it while in the woods and a pad of aluminum foil fixed the issues with the lighting. If it hadn't have had this, it would have easily gotten 5 stars.
Even with the gripe, this is by far an excellent deal @ only $2.
Customer Review: Excellent light for the price, poor quality Summary: 3 Stars
I know it isn't a flashlight that will last all the life, like a Maglite, but for the price, it works great! The light is awesome, although it don't work well for distances over 50 feet.
Update (02/08/2010)
Excelent light but poor quality, it started blinking after few months. if you want something to last for years better try a Mag Lite or a Smith&Wesson. Worth the price.
