I bought this to control some cable lighting I installed above some tall cabinets as offset lighting. At install, the controller was finicky about where to point it to make it work. But a couple days later when I tried to get the lights on, I had to hold it a foot away from the outlet to make it work--sometimes. I bought a name brand one at the local hardware store for $2 more and it works perfectly from virtually anywhere in my house. This one is not well made and not reliable; I won't be buying anything this brand again ever.Customer Review: Only one out of two works...flustrating!!

I have always had good luck with things I order from Amazon, but this time has not been good. I ordered two super wireless remote switches and only one works. The other is a total dud. I have tried everthing...change battery 3 times, shaked, smacked, cursed...nothing, very disappointed!!

This was a great value; instead of rewireing my Kitchen I purchased the single switch for my garbage disposal and it works great. This is a long term solutation that saved me a lot of money for a minor problem.Customer Review: Remote switch works as advertised/expected

The "remote" is kept upstairs in the bedroom. We use this unit to turn on a light downstairs in the den.
Range is great, very convenient product.
