Bought this for the bedroom. It's nice not having to get up to turn off the lights late at night when your almost about to fall asleep. When plugging this to an outlet, you will only be able to use one outlet as this device covers the second outlet.Customer Review: Works as advertised

I got this to turn the "charging station" for my various electronics on and off since the plug is not easily accessible. It works great, altho I'm not exactly taxing the unit much since the receiver is only about 3 feet from the remote.
