Tools and Hardware Reviews of Surefire E2D-BK Defender 60 Lumens Incandescent Flashlight Strike Bezel BlackCustomer Review: Expensive but well worth it Summary: 5 Stars
Initially receiving my first E2D as a Xmas present, I now own two of them. They are very light weight, compact, and bright lights. I used to carry a Streamlight Strion all the time. Well, that has been replaced by the E2D. The crenelated bezel and tail cap provides an additional line of defense as a last ditch effort when you have exhausted all other resources.
Given the choices of Streamlight SL20X, Strion, Stinger, and the Surefire E2D (all of which I own), my "carrying" flashlight is the E2D.
Customer Review: Good light Summary: 5 Stars
Standard issue of Tacoma PD. Very bright light. If you wack someone upside the head hard enough with the strike bezel it will hole punch a chunk out of their skull and they WILL die. It has happened. This is meant as a last ditch defence weapon so use care.
Customer Review: Great for gadget guys Summary: 5 Stars
I always carry one of these in my pocket. It's relatively small and light, so it's not irritating to carry.
As a flashlight, it's almost ridiculously bright. Using the light itself defensively is a real possibility -- it's quite startling to have this light in your eyes.
Customer Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
Super flashlight! Wish it had a pouch though for storing in a purse. I read that you can get a belt holster, but hey, how about something for gals?
Customer Review: Perfect product Summary: 5 Stars
PRO: brightest light I've ever seen.
good size for pocket but should really be carried in a holster
Strike bezel feature is reassuring to have, tested it on a friend, it really does hurt
CON: Battery life, all SureFire lights have short battery life, it's the price you pay for their intense brightness
