This was my first tactical flashlight and still the flashlight I use for EDC. It doesn't have the new LED technology, but it still puts out 60 Lumens on 2xCR123 batteries. Very small and easy to throw in a pocket. Plus it won't tear up your pockets like the flashlights with the strike bezels do.
Fenix offers lights with more functions, but I like the simple one click use of the surefires. Vey easy to use in a tactical or emergency siutation when you need light fast. If you can spend more money, I would suggest the Fenic LD20 or the Surefire 6P, I like them both.

This is a fantastic little light. The body feels really good and the build quality is great. The light output is very good for a light this small and the throw is adequate for this size. There's a gap between the bottom tailcap and the body which doesn't seem so serve any purpose so I'm not quite sure why they designed it that way, aside from that i have no complaints.Customer Review: Super Bright & Small

Great product! Really bright LED flashlight that is built to last and be realiable. Previously bought several other LED flashlights that don't even come close to comparing. When I need another good flashlight I will be buying another Surefire.
