I bought 3 of these LED lights, I have always been a big fan of Sylvania because of their German heritage BUT was I wrong with this particular product. A lot of Sylvania's products are made in different countries all over the world and this product is no exception. Not fond of these three words "Made in China" but majority of LEDs are from China so I have no choice. I have been using LEDs since the early 90's, love them and love them. I have 3 of the first generation emergency/night lights from Sylvania, they were also "Made in China" but they are still working after a whole year. Great, so I trust their 2nd generation will be much better and improved. Well, yes and no. The design is much better, takes up a lot less room and the AC plug is located in a much improved place which will not take up two vertical AC outlets, smart thinking there. The 3 LEDs are brighter and they give out a much brighter whiter light output. Problem number one is one light DOES NOT give out enough light when compared to the other 2, like 75% less so that's a defective unit. The second light went out in less than 24 hours of operation, it was plugged in the AC outlet, worked great in the first night and then the next evening, DEAD! No light comes from the LEDs but the green light is on which tells you that you are plugged in and charging/ON. So 2 out of 3 are defective/ inoperable, that is CRAP! Very disappointed with Sylvania, perhaps they should beef up their QC prior to shipment from China!
