Customer Review: The Flattest Plug You Can Get

These used to be more widely available, and they came in different colors. I misplaced a green one I purchased several years ago; it only had the one plug, though, whereas the one I just ordered has a bar at the end with three outlets. I did a search of the local home improvement and hardware stores, and much to my surprise, none of them carry this ultra flat, ultra thin model. The so-called flat plugs they stock are thicker.
I needed the flattest possible plug between a wall outlet and a screen I am using as a headboard for a bed. I couldn't sacrifice the outlet, since it's the only one on that side of the room. With a thicker plug, the screen might wobble and shift, but with this ultra-thin plug, there is barely any width added to the wall outlet itself.
Even if you don't need the ultra thin plug for the close tolerance, the style, with its neat, compact appearance, is just "prettier" than plugs that jut out. I'll probably end up getting a couple more for this reason alone, to replace conventional extension cords.
Though I hate that I have to order an extension cord through the mail, I'm very glad that I can get it from Amazon. The company website is no help in terms of locating retailers. And it doesn't look like they're producing it in any color besides white.
