Customer Review: A great, crisp line encased in a poorly designed case

The first time I struck a line with a friend's Tajima, I knew I must have one immediately. That was my first mistake.
About a week in, the line lock snapped off...followed by the crank a few weeks later. (I do not abuse my tools either) I returned it for a new one and not long after, the same thing happened. What a shame, I really liked the crisp, thin line that it made. Takes a little getting used to when trying to pull it tight...it seems to just stretch forever! Not a bad thing, just different. I ended up tossing the case and putting the line in my Irwin box. I even used the felt from the Tajima. Now I have a good line, albeit a hybrid of sorts.
It's pretty pricey too...must be made in a union shop by guys who are WAY overpaid. You union reviewers here know what I'm talking about.
