Just received "Cell Sensor"; purchased because we live adjacent to power lines (~100 yards away) and wanted to measure EMF in home. As suspected, levels are high all through the house - greater than 5m-Gauss in many spots & this is during a quiet time with no real load on system (temps about 75F). My concern with meter is with switching from High to Normal range - offscale readings in H scale don't reflect the same value on N scale. Example: A buried 5+ reading on H scale, reads about 2 on N scale? Not comfortable with reading meters that are off-scale or down in the low-end muck. But glad to have a rough feel for our exposure at home...not thrilled about it!Customer Review: The Cell Sensor is nice

I love this little EMF reader, as an amature paranormal Investigator I find this little device to be quite usefull. My only complaints about it is it's range it has about a 4 foot range at max so you really have to do alot of ground work, Also there is no back light so you can't see the actual numbers when working in the dark which is fine because because the top lights up when it picks up high Frequencies. All in all it's a very usfull tool and recomend it to anyone starting out in the feild.Customer Review: Wake Up Call- But Doesn't Work As Advertised

I ordered this meter because I wanted to measure both the RF from my cell phone and the EMFs around my house. Sadly, like some other reviewers have noted, IT DOES NOT WORK WITH A CELL PHONE.I placed the probe right on my phone, then held it away and around it. No readings at all! My phone was turned on, and I even called it from my land line to see if that changed the reading (in case being on stand-by mode was the reason). Nothing. Then I surfed the net on my phone and still nothing. To me that is unacceptable given that this is named "Cellsensor." I tried it on my friend's phone and got the same non-results. However, it did pick up EMFs around my house and I had no idea that a clock radio would be literally off the chart with RFs! Despite this I am returning it since it does not measure my cell phone radiation. I will buy a more expensive model in hopes that it will work.
