I paid a LOT of money for this machine. It didn't last one year and the plastic nubbin under the filter snapped off. Not only doesn't it work anymore, but it leaks all over the counter. When I contacted Lotus by email. I received no reply, whatsoever. Nothing.Customer Review: Couldn't Live Without This

I use this product day in and day out. The cleaning water is amazing. I don't want to repeat what other reviewers have said, so I'll just add to what they've stated.
I would buy this machine just for the way it cleans my new granite countertops. There are NO sanitizing products which are safe to clean granite and marble. This water sanitizes and shines like nothing else. It feels clean and leaves no streaks or spots.
The cleaning water has removed spots from my carpet that I thought were permanent. My very light colored car upholstery looks great. Brake dust just dissolves and wipes away when sprayed with the charged cleaning water.
It cleans and sanitizes wood floors and tile like no other product. My floors feel clean and look great. No streaks and no chemical cleaners needed anymore!
My dog gets really smelly at times. Not to be gross, but, she has a problem with her hind glands. At times, she smells so bad--like nothing else on earth. Just a few squirts of cleaning water, saturate the area, and blot her fur with a towel--absolutely no more smell. I would never have believed how the awful smell just disappears. But it does! She doesn't require nearly as many baths or trips to the groomer now.
I just love this machine.

Some folks have complained about getting an F1 error frequently. I have found that I get an F1 error when I sanitize grapes. Actually, I place the grapes into the bowl and swish them in water first and it's pretty horrifying how dirty the first rinse water is. (It's hard to tell that they're spraying grapes with down there in Chile...) Even after washing the grapes, I sometimes get an F1 error. My feeling is that the grapes were still too dirty for the unit to clean and I'm glad to know that the unit is "smart" enough to alert me.
I love this little machine so much that I got one for my mom. She loves hers, too.
Customer Review: Deliver as promised, however, there are some defect issues.

The product worked as promised, however, my first "2" units kept showing "F3" error messages.
When I returned to SharperImage, their sale rep. told me that the company "Tersano" has realized the problem and when customers return, just replace them with new one.
I got my "THIRD" one 2 days ago, which arrived to store on July 7th. They did fixed the "F3" problem, but now, July 9th, it starts showing "F1" error messages.
The reason I gave 2 star instead of 1 is because it's a good concept and when it worked, it did what they advertised. Unfortunately, there are still bugs that they need to fix. I will return my "THIRD" one, and get my refund. I guess "Third time's a charm" does not work on this product.
Customer Review: Did not work with tap water in San Francisco

I'm going to repeat what a previous reviewer said: it is possible that you're going to need filtered/bottled water for this to work.
I got the F1 code with only tap water in the spray bottle a bunch of times. I found trouble shooting instructions on the website that said to try bottled water for at least two cycles (first cycle to clean out the sensor).I did and BAM! Worked great. The processed water was also fantastic on a couple of stains that I tested it on. I tried tap water again, and it still didn't work. At this point the website tells you to forever use filtered or bottled water.
I couldn't really be bothered to set up a water filtration system just to make this appliance happy, so I returned it. Amazon gave me a full refund and didn't charge me for shipping.
If you're a patient person, it may be worth a try.
