Customer Review: Hard to push on vinyl floors

I purchased the mop to clean laminate wood floors, but I haven't moved into the house with them yet. So, currently I'm using it on vinyl floors. It cleans well, but is hard to push across the surface and takes a lot of physical strength.
I love the lotus system, but am not totally amazed with the mop. It may be easier to pour a bowl of sanitized water into a bucket and then use a regular mop-- I haven't tried that yet.
Or, I'm just a wimp.

I'm surprised that this product made by Tersano, I have Tersano water system, and ozonater water lotus system, and they are great, but I can't say the same about this mop, you can hardly move it .... needs to be improved a.s.a.p. hard to picture that this product was made by Tersano.Customer Review: Lotus Wet Mop

This is handier than a shirt pocket. It works Great! Being able to use what ever cleaner I want in it and the fact that I can wash and reuse the cloths makes it perfect. It has a nice spray pattern and is light weight. I can't find anything at all wrong with it unless it's the color but for it being the perfect answer in every other way I can forgive that.Customer Review: Love it!

I'm torn over only giving this product 4 out of 5 stars. My reason for doing so is the weight of the mop. I purchased one for myself and one for my elderly mom but had to return hers because it was just too diffucult for her to push. The mop itself is only a little heavier than the Swifter WetJet that she has been using - I believe that the microfiber pad causes the mop to drag somewhat, which causes it to be more difficult to push than her WetJet.
That said, I kept the unit that I ordered for myself and I couldn't be happier with it! That microfiber pad really bites down against the floor and gets the floor super clean. The pads are easy to rinse out after use and I much prefer doing that, rather than using throw-away pads. I love the fact that I don't have to purchase pads and cleaning solutions.
I have had the Lotus water sanitizing system as well as the water purification system for over a year now and can't imagine how I would get by without them.
If you ever have a problem with their products, the Tersano company is just wonderful to deal with. When I had a problem with one of my units, they replaced it quickly and with no hassle.

This is why I gave the product a three star even tho I never got to use it...
I was excited about the Lotus water-sanitizer and the mop! Problem is, I never was able to get the Tersano "base" to charge the water to 100%. I learned from Tersano customer assistance that my water might be too contaminated for the base to fully oxygenate the water, I needed to try bottled water. I didn't even try the bottled water, I bought it because I wanted to use the tap water. A fact which seems to be one of the major selling points. After reading more of the reviews, I see that I'm not the only one with the "contaminated water" issue. I wouldn't NOT recommend any of the Tersano products, just hold onto the boxes, you might need to ship it back.
