Tools and Hardware Reviews of The AMAZING 95 LED Aluminum Flashlight

Customer Review: Bright Light
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a good flashlight. I have several small LED flashlights, and, while they serve their purposes, I had no real "workhorse". Like most do-it-yourself homeowners, most of the repairs I make are done upside-down and in the dark -- under the house or under the sink or under the car. That's where having enough light really matters, and that's where a bright LED flashlight really shines.

The form-factor of this particular flashlight is not ideal for my purposes -- I'd like something that I could set somewhere and aim -- but other than that, I'm completely satisfied with it.

Customer Review: Bright as the sun
Summary: 5 Stars

Man I tell you what, just when I thought I would never find a flashlight with more LED's than my 94 LED flashlight, a beam of light shined down from the heavens. I first thought it was Jesus again with the Z.M.D.X.T.B.T.C.M. but oh no no, it was "The AMAZING 95 LED Aluminum Flashlight," and I just had to have it. I bought the flashlight in the silver, you know because you have to be gleamin in every situation. When this light arrived at the mansion I opened the box and put in my Duracell batteries. I was a little apprehensive about turning it on. But I took a shot of Santana DVX and pressed the button. The light burst on with god like force. I even heard a black hole say it wouldn't mess with this. The light cut a hole in my ceiling like Obi-Wan's light saber. I immediately turned it off but thought for a second.... "What good could I do?" I walked outside to my pond and threw a rock at the ducks. As the ducks flew off I turned it on again and started busting ducks out the sky like a 3D duckhunt. I missed one and that damn dog jumped out and laughed, so I flipped the switch and did what every kid from the 80's couldn't.. I lit that dog up like a Christmas tree at the Griswold's. Amaterasu, Arinna, Hittite, Apollo, Freyr, Garuda, Helios, Huitzilopochtli, Inti, Liza, Lugh, Mithras, Ra, Shemesh, Sol, Surya, and Tonatiuh... LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO THE NEW SUN GOD!

Customer Review: FLAWED DESIGN
Summary: 1 Stars

The light coming out from this flashlight is blindingly intense, if you're stupid enough to stare into it like I was. However the beam is TOTALLY unfocussed and radiates a dim diffuse beam across fully 180 degrees from the front of this flash light. Result is the beam turns out to be quite dull and of no use at all at long (like 50 yds) distances. I have a single LED flashlight that runs on 3 AAA cells and which can be focussed and offers a noticeably brighter beam. My old Victorian tech 6 volt incandescent "lantern" is dramatically brighter at distances ($7.99 at local hardware store).

If I had to do it again I wouldn't.

Customer Review: Generally agree....

....with most of the positive reviews. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that I don't believe it is as bright as the other reviewers claim. It is quite adequate and satisfactory and for my purposes it fills the bill. I am using it for a "house" flashlight because it is too bulky for my car and it's wide, bright beam seems better suited for that purpose. For my car I have a flashlight I bought from Sharper Image a couple of years ago which says "Emissive Energy Nova" on the bottom and that may be the brand and model. It runs on two 3V Lithium batteries that are supposed to last for years. Anyway it is actually brighter and projects it's beam further than the Big Kahuna and is only 6 inches long and in my opinion better suited for carrying in your vehicle.

Customer Review: Great Flashlight
Summary: 5 Stars

A flashlight is a tool that every household must have. I have owned several types of flashlights and found that flashlights are usually poorly made. The best ones to buy would be a Maglight. Maglight flashlights are used by most emergency workers mainly "police officers". They are durable and provide excellent lighting. One day the power went out and I realized I did not have a flashlight. I started scrolling through Amazon and noticed this flashlight. I knew that having one LED on my key chain was bright what about 95!!! I bought it and when I started using it was amazed. This flashlight lights up the room and has an amazing life expectancy. The life expectancy of LED lamps is 100,000 hours of operations where as Xenon bulbs last up to 20,000 hours on average.
