Way too loud! I do not leave my dryer running when I am not home so I hear every bing, bang, boom of every load. Gives me a headache!! Save your money and avoid the headache... leave the dryer balls at the store!!!!Customer Review: They REALLY do work

Bought these not too long ago. I use them all of the time. They do a great job on towels, men's under clothing, permanent press clothing, cleaning rags (not microfiber, Never soften those), etc. I find the drying time is a little less, the clothes do not tangle and they smell nice and clean. Best of all---no chemicals. If you have clothes with a lot of static cling, then you can throw in maybe half a dryer sheet to reduce that problem. I love these "little guys". Recommend them to all and especially chemically sensitive folks.Customer Review: What a waste!

I just bought it yesterday. It isn't a cheap product, but I thought it would be nice if I could save dryer time and not use fabric softener sheets.
However, with my home dryer, drying time was the same, and it didn't soften laundry at all. At least, I didn't notice any difference. If people still need to use fabric softener sheets, what is the point? If I had known this result, I wouldn't have bought this. I am very disappointed.

Why would you use this item when any type of ball works? Tennis balls are my choice, and they can even be spritzed with some fragrance!Customer Review: no idea if it really works - though I use them all the time

I always stick them in the dryer but haven't noticed any difference. I'm too lazy to do comparative testing with regards to dry timing and static cling tests. I thought they would be good because of less chemicals in the cloths versus dryer sheets.
I was concerned of the plastic melting but so far the balls have retained their shape.
