I bought this product in stores with a bit of skepticism. I had just recently inherited a home from my grandfather who was deeply a car engine man and since he had no garage, basement or shed, all the engine work was done inside the house. I was sure the motor oil/work shop/wood burning stove smell wasn't going to get any better until we replaced the carpet and repainted. I used the "invert onto lid" instructions for strong odors, placed it in front of the cool air return and within 24 hours I was amazed how much less overpowering the smell is when you walk into the house. Definitely worth the money and I will be buying a few more to use later on for other uses in the home. Amazing!
