Picking persimmons in my backyard garden has always been difficult. Perviously I used a long ladder which was very unstable at heights needed to reach the top fruit, so I often left them for the birds.
I bought this item on Amazon a year ago based on the reviews and have now used it for 2 harvests. I attached it to a telescoping handle that was part of a light changing kit bought at a local hardware store. It has made picking fruit at any height so easy. I just attach the clamp to the fruit and twist a few times. I can easily pick fruit on the other side of my brick wall. Now I can pick all the fruit I want and not have to risk a dangerous fall.
