I purchased this "just because" for by brother. He has a beautiful home filled with eclectic items bought home from his various exotic trips around the world. Financially I cannot compete with his objects d' art, but this item hit a home run for him and his wife! The tissue box is heavy, not flimsy. Quality piece; and the toung-in-cheek humor was greatly appreciated! I too have this great tissue holder and I solved the problem of it being upright by wedging it between several books on a book shelf in our family room. It works great!
