The Titan T-960 is a piece of junk of unacceptably low quality. Every quality shortcut that the Chinese manufacturer could employ seems to have been used in this pile of garbage. Plastic is used extensively instead of metal. This is a huge problem with the mounting pieces, since the threaded plastic ring that secures it to the sink drain is poorly made, and skips over the threads it is supposed to mate with (and no, it wasn't cross-threaded). When I pushed the disposer up into position, the ring slid past all the threads and came off. On top of all the other flimsy pieces, that was the last straw. Without even plugging it in, I removed the unit and took it back to the store. To make matters worse, the Titan website says the T-960 has the magnetic Silver Guard...It doesn't.
Spend the extra money and get an Insinkerator. Don't waste your time and money on this thing.
