Tools and Hardware Reviews of Toro 51599 Ultra 12 amp Variable-Speed Electric Blower/Vacuum with Metal ImpellerCustomer Review: Beats any Gas Blower Summary: 5 Stars
Bought this product based on reviews. Thought only gas blowers could do the job the way you wanted it to be done. Well I was so wrong. This Toro blows air up to 230 miles per hour and it does what is say's. Great investment for the price. You won't go wrong with this product.
Customer Review: Best $70 I've ever spent Summary: 5 Stars
Former leaf hater turn leaf lover!!! I just purchased this product after seeing it on the Fox News Channel. I am so glad that I did! So easy to carry, handle, and empty. I have a gravel driveway and I had absolutely no problems what so ever picking up the leaves on the rocks. It was also great to use in all of my flower beds where the leaves collect around all of my flowers and shrubs, I could see my mulch again. I have 10 plus trees with an overwhelming amount of leaves to clear every year and I usually rake and then mulch them with the lawn mower. Well not anymore, I actually can't wait till more leaves fall so I can use this wonderful vac/mulcher again!!
Customer Review: Best $70 a guy could spend Summary: 5 Stars
Love this blower!! It is my first one ever. Can't believe I used a broom for vast areas.
Don't like it as a vacuum. Vacuum = girly. I like to blow everything into a pile and scoop it up - fast and easy.
Also, fantastic to blow the water off your car when done washing.
Buy it!
Customer Review: Best Blower Out There Summary: 5 Stars
I've owned the Toro Ultra since 2004 and it has performed flawlessly for me. I've used it both for clean up and leaf shredding and it's been great. It cuts the leaves down to a very nice mulching size, perfect for the yard. It's lightweight and easy to handle. It takes very little effort to convert from blower to vac and back again. My neighbors have seen me using it to pick up leaves and have asked me where I got it. I highly recommend it. Now after 5 years, it broke today. In pulling it apart I found that the 4 metal mounting brackets that hold the motor in place broke, causing the impeller to drop out and stop. No easy fix, so it looks like I'll be purchasing a new one, needless to say, I'll be getting the exact same one again. For $70 and 5 years of service, that's not bad.
