These are sturdy and perfect for raising other furniture up off the floor. I am 6'7" and these raised my couch to a comfortable height for me. Although the bed risers aren't that pretty to look at, they do serve their purpose. I bought a long bedskirt to hide them. I was able to store a ton of things under the bed in our very small apartment. Since I've purchased mine, I've seen them used in stores to make tables taller so bending over back problems are solved.

Pros:
The base is 6 9/16 inch square floor footprint.
The cup size in the top is tapered down to about 2 3/4 or just a shade under.
Sturdy black plastic with the cup in the top to keep things centered.
Cons:
I had 3-inch round plastic support feet for my queen frame and had to shave off some girth to make them square and allow them to rest fully into the base of the cup.
The overall height of the riser is 6 inches, but it actually only raises the bed frame by 5 inches, because the cup itself is 1 inch deep. Even though I was wanting the 6 inches in height, the 5 is exactly what I needed.
I also wish they came is something other than 4-packs. I had to buy three boxes because I needed 10 total. Now I have 2 left over, but oh well....

Arrived on time and were exactly as promised. I was a bit disappointed to find them at Wal Mart for 8.95, but thats not the sellers fault, they did right by me and I would use them again (I would just visit walmart first)
