These bags are excellent for travelling. I travel every month for work and it is a pain in the butt to get everything to fit in my suitcase, these have made life a great deal easier. However, be careful with scratching or puncturing them in any way. If you treat them well they will work for you more than once. I purchased two boxes and of the 6 bags 4 still work great. Two have scratches on them and no longer stay air tight, but they did work round trip for me.Customer Review: HORRIBLE

I'm sure these would work.. if they were made of something thiker than tracing paper. I was going to college, and bought a few of these so I could get more in my car. the first 2 i took out of the packaging already had rips in them, which after much duct tape, it held the vacuum seal long enough to pack them, but by the time i opened my trunk, then litterally sprang out of my trunk. the rest of them broke in the move. I mean... regular ziplock bags would work better than these. If they were made out of thicker plastic, they'd be great... but the way they are, they wont work!Customer Review: Hard to use

I bought some of the ones where you squeeze the air out and you don't have to use a vacuum. What a joke. The instructions said to roll it to squeeze the air out. I spent about 25 minutes trying that and basically put my sweater into a ball at the end of the roll that wouldn't lie flat. I never did get all of the air out of the bag either. I bought four bags and tried all four with the same slow compression. I will be returning them tomorrow. I think I'll just try a regular garbage bag, it's the same concept.Customer Review: Not at all what I ordered

I ordered what appeared to be a set of space bags according to the way the site is set up, however, all I received is 2 bags for $23.oo. Outrageous - I would never have ordered this item if it had been represented correctly.Customer Review: Overpack no more!

Our family of two has traveled to various places over the last few years... Spain, Cechz Republic, Iceland... various cities in the States & we've managed to always overpack to the point we have to sit on our luggage to close them.
Well, being the skeptic I am, I did some research & decided to purchase the travel space bag set & to our surprise... found that we could actually pack about 25% more than we use to & still have space for an extra pair of shoes - ha!
The key is not to pack too much into these bags as instructed, & it's easiest to "roll" them to remove the air while you're on the floor or sturdy surface. Only improvement I can see is making the zip-locks more distinguishable when the bag is fully closed - that would be a good indicator.
