Tools and Hardware Reviews of Travel Space Bags - No Vacuum Needed!Customer Review: Space Bags Summary: 4 Stars
I order new space bags every month & I'm still finding new uses for them. I have a major problem with dust and these seem to keep everything I place in them clean. Great for storing clothing by seasons. I just shove them under a bed. I use them when I'm packing. I truly can get more in than w/o them. Haven't seemed to have a problem with the "zipper" releasing the vacumn. However, once I have packed, who cares? I close my suit case and go.
Customer Review: They Work Summary: 3 Stars
Soon I'll be moving across country with very limited luggage space and I need something that will allow me the most bang for my buck. These bags do work, but you have to get used to how to use them properly. Its very important to follow the directions precisely. It is possible to flatten the bag out after you've rolled the air out, without loosing the seal--but you should be careful. I'm going to try the regular Space Bags as well to see which model is better. These do work, but they require patience (it might take a while to roll all the air out) and practice to get it just right.
Customer Review: Travel Space Bags Are Great! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought these for a camping trip. A prefect way to save space and protect your clothes from rain/moisture. Also, these are great to store used clothes too (to not smell-up your bag!).
Customer Review: Travel space saver bags Summary: 1 Stars
I did not like these bags but found that Samsonite space saver travel bags work much better. They last a very long time (have the same set for over 10 years now). I get the air out by placing them on a hard surface and lying down on them. Works much better than rolling them up to remove the air.
Customer Review: Use with Caution Summary: 3 Stars
Overall, I like using the Space Bags. They are especially useful when packing heavy jackets. However, I have encountered several problems. First, one of the zippers broke off. Then, I had one stolen from my hotel room in Europe. I was using it as a shelf liner and placed my shirts on top of it.. I came back and it was gone. I'm not quite sure exactly why a maid would chose to steal a space bag but whatever. I also would advice against putting them in a garage or attic. Rats chewed ours up to make a nice comfortable, waterproof, dust proof, and dirt proof space for themselves. On the other hand, maybe they were trying to make a miniature version of the bag to sell to all their rat friends.
