This is a great product, easy to install and its heavy duty.I had made one out of wood before I saw this Item.The problem with it was I had to put a strip on the front so you had to slide the boards in and out.This is hard if you have a small shop or long boards.The only thing I would suggest to Triton would be to add a third bar,because if you have short and long boards its hard to adapt.If you set it up for short boards it's to close for the long boards and if setup for long boards it's to far apart for the short boards.Also if you put it to far apart for long boards they will sag.Thats the reason I only gave it four Stars.I solved that problem I bought a second one.I guess thats why it only comes with two bars.They make more money if you have to purchase two.If you are mounting it directly to studs it its kind of hard to adjust for the board size you want.It would be 32, 48, 64,etc.This make it a little hard to adjust for short and long boards.You could run boards across the studs and mount it that way.I guess it depends on how nice you you want your shop to look.I have drywall on my walls so I don't want to do that.Hope this review helps.Customer Review: Dissapointed

I ordered this rack because everything I had seen previously mentioned these were made in Australia, well the package arrived & low & behold they are now being made in communist China! I havent had time to install them but they appear "OK" & will do the job. I didnt experience any of the shipping damage issues others mentioned. One thing to note no mounting hardware is included nor do the weak instructions mention the size required, this isnt really a big deal for those who know what theyre doing but the manufacturer should at a minimum advise what hardware will be needed for the basic mounting scenarios IMNSHO.Customer Review: Excellent product, poor shipping

This is a great product. I bought two, and find that the racks are top notch - the attention to detail is excellent - and they beat anything else I could find for the money.
Install is a snap, but make sure you have appropriate mounting hardware for your type of wall. They come with everything you need except for lag bolts, toggles, anchors, etc - whatever is appropriate for your wall. I used 1/4"x3" lags into wood studs or lag shields drilled into block.
The only problem with these racks is the shipping - Amazon really needs to put them inside a second box. Boxes for both of my racks came with some minor damage, and one plastic spacer was a bit funky but it still did the trick.
In summary: good luck with the packaging, but if everything arrives in one piece you can't do better.

I recently completed work on a 20'x20' wood shop and was in the market for a system to organize my lumber supply which was taking up valuable space on the floor. The Triton woodrack is a simple design that makes good sense. By mounting it on an unused masonry wall, I was able to not only free up valuable space, but organize my stock for easy storage and access. The racks are extremely simple to construct and mount. My only beef is that the mounting instructions are limited and mounting hardware is not included. I did not have shipping issues that others have spoken about. If you've got a woodshop, this is an inexpensive "must have."Customer Review: Great Product - Horrible Packaging!

I have to start out that I really like this product. I have been using it for a couple of months and for anyone that does even a little woodworking, this is a real time saver for getting both your scrap and stock wood organized and easy to sort through.
With that said, there is really no way that they can get this to you in one piece. Like most people, I read the reviews that said that his had bad packaging and ordered it anyway assuming that the problem had been corrected or that I would get lucky. No such luck!
The first shipment of this product had an actual piece of the product protruding out of the box. UPS had taped the parts in place outside of the box & it was a real work of art. When I opened the box, all of the hardware was missing and several other pieces were missing. Amazon replaced the product and the second try for this product was a little better. Between the two shipments, I hatched together enough pieces to put the thing together. Ok, I actually had to make a run to the hardware store to replace some missing screws.
Little did I know, my fun on this item had just begun. Even though the problem with packaging is clearly an issue, you will be responsible for finding a new box (the original one is useless) and returning the remnants of the broken shipment back for credit. Finding a box that is this big and getting it back to a shipping company is a chore. You should keep this in mind before buying this item here.
Great Product, Horrible Packaging and the trouble will be all yours!
