I purchased this item because I have an office job where I sit 7 hours out of the day, and was very pregnant still working. After sitting for all that time, my tail bone was so sore I couldn't even sit when I got home I had to lay down on my side. The cushions padding was fine but the large cut-out in the back did not work for my small botty. Ended up not being enough support with that section of padding missing. Seems like it'd be great for average to large butts.Customer Review: Not great for petite people.

I have scoliosis and a bulging disc in my lumbar spine. Because I have to spend a lot of time sitting I had hoped that this cushion would make my life a little more comfortable. I tried a similar cushion (by a different maker) in my chiropractor's office and it felt great. I figured I'd buy this one instead as it's a little smaller and it has decent reviews--how different could it be? Sadly, the Tush Cush is way too firm and the notch is too wide for my pelvis (I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs). Sitting on it for 30 minutes actually CREATED numbness rather than alleviated it. How on earth would I survive a five-hour plane ride followed by 12-hour days of sitting? I went back to the doctor's office and purchased his instead.Customer Review: This has been a miracle for my back!

When a friend introduced me to her tush cush, I had just ridden for two and a half hours in a car that left my lower back aching. Within fifteen minutes of getting into her car and sitting on her tush cush, my back felt good again. She made the tush cush a gift! Since that time, I've bought two more for myself and four for my father. My car cush travels with me where ever I fly.
