The way this product fixed the rusty tines on my dishwasher rack is great! It has lasted through many cycles and shows no signs of wearing off. The only difficult thing is getting the product on without getting glue all over your hands. For that I'd recommend wearing gloves.Customer Review: Rack Repair: OK but not great

Dishwasher Rack Repair MAGIC - WHITE w/40 caps
I have an older dishwasher so rather than buy a whole new rack I opted to try this product. I hope to catch the rust before it gets worse and save appox. $100, the price of a new rack. Application was simple, after cleaning off the rust, brush the stuff on the rack.(Do it in a well ventilated area, the smell gave me a headache.) Let the first application dry and then reapply a second time, or maybe a third if some places are worse than others. It's not been on the rack very long so I can't say whether it works or not. If it does work and I don't have to get a new rack then the small price I paid and the time invested will have been worth it.

The salesman told me I should protect my rack tines with caps.
I didn't, now I trying to delay the inevitable as some tines are completely gone and even the frame shows some bubbles in the covering. Boy is my wife going to be ticked when a tray breaks in mid cycle.
The glue is easy enough to apply, but you have to move fast, scrape the excess into the bottle, and probably work in a cool spot. I found the bottle covered one rack.
The rack looks a lot better, but the tines are so rusted that I expect them to rust out from under the caps.
Bottom line: Apply this stuff now, before you need to and your racks will last much longer.
Hummm, now where is that second bottle I ordered through Amazon. I;ll have to check.

Received in a few days, read the easy directions and installed them. Let it dry overnight and they worked great. The tips covered the tine tips and stay on great with the Uber goop. I also used the uber goop to cover a few scratches and gouges in the dishwasher rack that weren't on the tine tips. It's been a month and they show no signs of weakening.Customer Review: Save your dishwasher!!!!

New racks cost an arm and a leg. Our dishwasher is over 10 years old, but does a great job - and we don't want to replace it until it stops working. We put several thin coats on the worst spots and then let it dry overnight. All the repairs have held up - and no more rust spots on the dishes. The caps are great, just pop them over the ends and you're done.
