I bought this telescoping pole to put up Christmas lights outside, and it works really well. It's a very long pole when fully extended, and it's quite sturdy, yet light. The fittings to loosen/tighten each section work well. They are big, so it's easy to get torque on them to twist them loose, but they don't come loose by themselves. It was also economical, and I'm very happy with this purchase! I'm sure I'll get many years' use out of this item.
