Tools and Hardware Reviews of Venta VS207 Sonic Digital Cool and Warm Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier

Customer Review: Appearances are deceiving
Summary: 1 Stars

The first problem was that bright blinking of the front panel. even after it emitted steam nicely (briefly), I woke to annoying blinking from across the room. must it blink??!

It never went near 50 percent humidity i set it on.

The worst part is- little did i realize after only a few uses it was leaking. A LOT. TO THE FLOOR BELOW. (all the while i'm thinking it ran out of water for doing it's job.)

Bad bad bad. Oh yeah, the company does not answer calls...

Customer Review: Awesome product, third Venta humidifier (all still working)...
Summary: 5 Stars

I have two of the original Venta Sonic's that don't have the digital readout and am extremely pleased with them. I read the reviews of this new one and barely bought it... but good lord it's a great product. I don't have a hygrometer but I know I like the humidity where the readout says 45%, easy enough. This is my third humidifier from Venta [all are still working fantastic]. I gotta say something about the silly "white powder" that some people mention in their reviews - they're nuts...period....it's called dust people. There is no white powder whatsoever that comes out of a humidifier. People talk about white stuff on their TV's in their bedrooms - it's called dust; TV's are static magnets. Anyway, awesome product, buy with confidence, and buy the filters from the company's homepage - probably get a better deal on shipping than you would from a third party. Breath freely :)

Customer Review: Best Humidifier in Category Award
Summary: 5 Stars

Evaluating all the humidifiers of this type and category using the internet and feedback, this is the unit to select. The Venta VS207 isn't perfect but the best for it's application and price. This is the best I have owned to produce an abundance of vapor that relieves the dryness of winter. I have an oversized bedroom measuring 20' x 28' this unit produces a very comfortable humidity. The unit's humidstat is the only problematic reported issue. The accuracy is off but knowing this the user can make compensations to find your desired comfort range. Experiment and you will find that your adjustment to compensate will remain consistent so once you find it, set it and forget it. Hope this helps others selecting this unit and that you will find it to be as equally satisfying!

Customer Review: Best Value- Silent- Works!
Summary: 5 Stars

Price:
I bought this one at Bed Bath And beyond today. Before coupon it was $100, so I got it for $80 with a 20% off coupon. This was way more appealing than the Air-O-Swiss's $200 price tag before coupon.

Ease of setup:
Setting up the device couldn't have been more simple. It took less than 5 minutes for be to get it out of the box, fill the tank, and have a therapudic cool vapor running coming out.

Quality of mist:
I couldn't be happier, a steady mico bead mist that doesn't condensate on the area where the mist lands.

Quietness of unit:
It's all but silent. No noticible noise other than an occasional bubble rising to the top. There is no need to talk loud or turn up the TV when this unit is on. I don't see how it's possible for anyone to call this anything other than quiet or silent.

Overall:
Price, ease of setup/use, quiet factor, great mist.....it's the whole package. Don't waste your money on the Air-o-swiss unit.

Customer Review: Best one I've tried yet!
Summary: 4 Stars

This humidifier is almost totally quiet. I've tried a couple less expensive models, and they were terrible. This one is worth the money you pay for it. I highly recommend it. It is a little awkward to fill the water tank, but so far, all the ones I've seen fill the same way. I think it's just the nature of the beast. A very small drawback for all the benefits.
