Customer Review: Easy to Use- and Works Too

I purchased the Worx GT last May (2007). It has worked beautifully since then. At the time of purchase, I had a tiny yard to upkeep, and the Worx did the job well. It is lightweight and easy to use. Replacing the string on this is by far the easiest that I've ever replaced. You simply remove the old cartridge, and pop in a new one. That's it!
Last month, I moved to a new house, and a new and bigger yard. the Worx is doing good here too. Now, this yard had never been edged, and the Worx did have a hard time of it to cut a nice crisp edge. We actually ended up using a traditional blade edger for that first time. However, since the edge has been started now, the Worx is working just fine at maintaining that nice and clean edge.

This product is lite weight and so easy to use my 12 year old has decided that it is his job. The head adjusts letting him get under shrubs without doing any damage and the line seems to do a better job than most with a clean cut. I have had several electric and gas units over the years and find this one of the best. I use this trimmer everyday. I followed the battery break in period instructions, but am a little disappointed that I don't get longer use out of each charge, I am getting about 20 - 30 minutes depending on how tough the area I am trimming is. I really like this machine. It is light weight, so, I would like it to run for an hour at least. It is also very simple to use. Changing the spools is easy and a great improvement over having to restring my old gas-run JD trimmer. Do be careful when ordering the spool refills on Amazon, the recommended purchase was not for the correct model and so I had to return mine and order again. There are apparently many different model. It was worth the cost and I'm sure I will get my money's worth out of it.Customer Review: Electric Weed Wacking

Don't believe the infomercial. Product combo shipment arrived and the new lithium battery was a dud. Almost impossible to reach customer service by phone(online help is a joke) and emails are answered in about a week. They did ship another replacement battery with R/A for the old one after 3 emails. The replacement lithium along with the extra lithium battery (purchased a just in case one) both lasted for one charge and now are both duds. Tried to determine if charger is the problem with no response from customer service. After two months just frustrated and neighbors are looking at my yard thinking we must have moved.
Sadly, the trimmers work well when you can use them. Fix the battery problem before I get a citation.
