This is a good contemporary stand that goes well with any room decor and is sort of transparent in the room despite having chunky lags and overall design, and a large size. Flexibility of shelves is a nice feature, so we omitted second from the floor shelf to accommodate a huge sub-woofer. We did not have problems putting it together as some other customers noticed. Silver color is a bit too silver and finely textured, but curving shelves really soften the look. I was concerned about not having cable management on this stand, but after seeing that on the Walker TV stand purchased later, I realized that lack of that heavy metal strip/box in the back is actually an advantage for the look. My husband did a very nice job by installing cable covering tubes along the wall (available from a hardware store)and a mirror cable box. Cables virtually disappeared and the look is airy. Overall, good purchase, but overpriced. It could be purchased from Meijer for $40 less with shipping, as I found out later.
