I bought this because I wanted to apply heat to a stuck nut in a tight spot under the hood of my car. I was able to fill it up easily from a butane canister. However, it is very hard to light, in part because you have to twist a knob and press it at the same time. You can't light it with one hand. Even indoors it takes multiple tries to get a flame going; outdoors in the cold (40 degrees F) forget it - wouldn't light at all. When I lit it indoors, and then tried to carry it outdoors the least bit of wind would blow it out. I would not buy this tool again.
