I live in Southern California and I really appreciate this unit. My husband and I had an apartment in Paris that had a great towel warmer. It's hard to describe the European warmer, but it had more surface area. My complaint with the few units I've seen here in the United States is that they have rungs instead of a tile-like surface heating area, and therefore aren't as efficient and don't do as good a job of heating/drying. However, given that the European units don't seem to be available here, this unit works well enough. We use it to warm/dry our towels, dry swimsuits, etc. without having to start up the clothes dryer. It's also very nice to have a warmish towel when you step out of the shower.Customer Review: Warm and dry

We liked our Warmrails so well we bought this for our 4 kids. It's great because it's portable, but very stable, and we load 4 big towels on it after every bath. This is PLENTY big! It keeps the towels dry and fresh, extending their pre-washing life. We only turn it on to dry them out, so we cheat the boys out of the warmth, but someday they'll care enough to turn it on! We also keep it on a plug-in timer so it doesn't use an excessive amount of power. Great value, great product.
