Purchased from Amazon over a year ago and still works great. Installation simple. Operation completely satifactory even after a years use. I purchased this model because of a review for the L-2600 which pointed out that despite the larger case there was no sound insulation inside. This unit with the smaller case takes up less room under the sink and otherwise has the same specifications. Previously I had 2 Insinkerator Badger 1/2 HP disposals purchased from Home Depot that only lasted 2 to 3 years each. They were both more expensive than this model.
