Tool Review: great product but beware

Following the installation manual, I could not get the disposer installed. After spending an hour trying various approaches (under the sink, on my back of course) I gave up and called the 800 number, only to find out the manual is wrong! It would never work if installed according to the directions. I do question though how well it will work over time with the "new way" of installing using a questionalble gasket seal. But with the new instructions it installed and is working fine. Good unit for the price, but perhaps call the 800 first to make sure there are no updated instrucitons. (I am curious to know if they actually tried to assemble this unit when it was made as they would have been unable to so do the way it was designed)
