This showerhead design updates the look of a bathroom shower easily because it's a very sleek, shiny, design. It was very easy to install, which is one thing that prompted me to buy it based on the many reviews that mentioned easy installation. Another thing that persuaded me was the claim that it put forth more water power. I initially tried it with the flow regulator on and was disappointed. The water flow appeared just the same or weaker than my old shower head. Then I removed the flow regulator and re-installed it. To my surprise the flow was indeed more forceful and better than my old one. I was able to rinse off much quicker and the shower experience was more rejuvenating. It's a good head if you want a little upgrade that's not to fancy, looks pretty good and works well. It's large and oval so if you don't want anything big this isn't for you. I think it's worth the price it's at now on Amazon. I gave it four stars instead of five because when I was removing the flow regulator the directions mentioned a screen. I didn't see a screen in the parts. I hope that doesn't cause any issues. Otherwise, I'm glad I purchased this item, I recommend it, and hope that it will continue bringing me great showers for years to come.Customer Review: Excellent Coverage

I have had difficulty in the past with shower heads that only spray a narrow stream. This once is completely different. The head has a bulky appearance but really spreads out the streams and keeps up the pressure. Since I have low water pressure, I hunted for a good Waterpik showerhead which allows you to remove the flow regulator if needed. I tried the hand helds and while they were ok, they always felt too weak for me. Tried a bunch of different ones from Kohler, Delta, etc. and nothing seemed worth the price. Then I stumble across this baby. Like those increasingly popular large rainfall and downpour and Waterpik's own Cascadia models, this is an oversized showerhead. This one has a unique oval head design that can be mounted sideways or up like a huge shield over your head. Because the price was low, I tried one.
Wow. This thing felt great!! Used to crappy shower heads with minimal coverage this was amazing in comparison. Full wide area coverage or a strong power spray to wash off soap and shampoo. Knowing that my previous heads were just crappy I still removed the regulator to see the difference and then re-installed it. Stronger still and just felt overall great. The shower itself is a plastic with a chrome finish but seems like it will last, unlike hand helds that always crack as they are dropped against the tub, etc. The light weight of the showerhead means it stays put where you bend it, something not so easy with the heavy metal ones with the extending arms. I love it and am getting as second one for the other bathroom.
For the price, you definitely cannot go wrong. Those with low water pressure can remove the flow regulator to help get some oomph in their shower and wind up taking a quicker shower instead of spending longer with no pressure wasting even more water in the long run. This would have gotten 5 stars if it had some type of massage feature but as it is, for the price it's hard to beat.

The Waterpik AST 233CC/20008439 AquaScape Dual Mode Oval Showerhead, Chrome, is one of the best showerheads I've used. I used it on an apartment with low water pressure. I removed the water reducer from the showerhead, so this is what my review is based on.
Pros:
* Easy to Install
* Light
* Gentle, full body rain shower
* Hard pressurized spray (if you want it)
* Easy to adjust (in terms of direction).
CONS:
* Large head (size of a half sheet of regular paper 3x8 inches)
Although it looks big, I forgot about the size once the shower started. It offers a confortable, shower that is relaxing, gentle, and powerful all in one. Highly recommend!.
Note: You may want to also check your exisiting showerhead to see if it has a reducer that you can take out. You may find that you might not need new showerhead at all. In my case, I did and I'm glad I paid a little extra to get Waterpik Oval Showerhead the apartment.

I have used many shower heads ranging from cheap brands to expensive. This
is the only one I will use from now on, if available. My whole family loves
the shower experience, and friends of my children always comment on how
wonderful the showers are at my home. I like to feel water pressure, and
so many I tried previously were sadly disappointing. It greatly saves on
water usage since just a small trickle coming from the faucet will produce
enough pressure for a satisfying shower. The dual mode can make you feel
rained on or jet streamed. Thanks, Amazon, for the great price!
