Tools and Hardware Reviews of Waterpik CF-201 Cascadia Dual Mode 8-Inch Showerhead, White

Customer Review: Great product!
Summary: 5 Stars

Great price and great product! I already have one in my master bath that I have had for 5 years and purchased this one for the guest bath. It is the best shower head I have ever had! easy install, even a lady can do it with no tools and it adjust to short or very tall for men and kids.

Customer Review: Great product, great service
Summary: 5 Stars

We have 2 of these in the house now. Very easy installation; it takes less than 5 minutes. The rain mode is great for showering and the power mode rinses your hair.

I read that a previous reviewer had a problem with switching modes and the water coming coming out half-and-half. I had a similar problem on my second showerhead after a few months and WaterPik had *excellent* customer service. Normally you are lucky even for companies to acknowledge you. WaterPik returned my web inquiry with a phone call and sent me a replacement at no charge. I'd happily buy from WaterPik again.

Customer Review: Great product--worth the money
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had 2 of these shower heads...one broke when I tried to take it off to paint the bathroom, and Waterpik was WONDERFUL and sent me a new one with no problem. The second has been great for 2 years now. Some guests have complained that it's not the angled direction they're used to, but I love it!!

Customer Review: Great shower, bad construction
Summary: 4 Stars

I agree with everyone else. This shower head is a great concept and it works really well....when everything is "perfect." I agree that the toggle switch is hard to press, but since it is plastic, it is flimsy at the same time, so you are worried that you are gonna break it every time you switch spray modes. One of the 'pros' though is that when you take it out of the cradle & switch to the hard spray, it works well for cleaning & rinsing the shower when you clean with scrubbing bubbles, etc.

But as others have said....the same thing happend to us, the plastic holder piece cracked both inside the 'U' and outside. I actually patched it twice with epoxy compound & it worked, but now it just cracked again this morning in the same spot where I patched it, so the head will not stay seated in the cradle. That makes it useless, since it hangs down from the hose. I can probably fix it one last time, but I think we are gonna just get something new.

I guess the "good" part is that we have had this one for about 5 years, so it did last a while.

*****UPDATE***** 8/17/10
So I just got off the phone with WaterPik (there is a toll-free # for customer service on their website), and asked them about a replacement part for just the bracket/holder, I saw one listed on the website for $5.99 but wanted to make sure it was the correct fit for this model showerhead. They said sure, and simply offered to send me one for free. I said great and gave them my address information.

I can only assume that they are well aware of the problem of the holder breaking, and if a customer calls, they simply offer to send a free replacement.

Customer Review: Great showerhead for the money
Summary: 5 Stars

I live in a rental property and the showerheads that the landlord has are not the best. The Waterpik is great has a wide downpour of rain and is invigorating in the mornings. I also like the fact that you can switch to a higher pressure setting
