Tools and Hardware Reviews of Waterpik NML-603(S) Linea 6-Mode Showerhead with OptiFLOW, Chrome

Customer Review: Best showerhead around, bar none!
Summary: 5 Stars

First, let me state that this is my third Waterpik Flexible Showerhead in the past 16 years. I replaced the first after 7 years after the massaging feature failed, the same for the second but held onto it longer. Why? Because it worked but after all those years hard water crud buildup stared to clog the head pores. However, both gave excellent performance during their lifespans. I notice the new Waterpik's do not include the word massage because they flat out do not offer much of a pulsating water massage. Too bad, this was a nice feature to have.

Secondly, the naysayers who claim the unit is flimsy and breaks during install must either be reviewers from other manufacturers or flat out gorillas not knowing their strength. It screws on easily and hand tightening is all that is needed. Come on, they're all made from the same mold so how can one be flimsy threaded while the next not? One thing one must do is remove the water restrictor valve inside the hose or, yes, your flow will be restricted to a useless dribble. Removing this nonsense part is easily done by looking at the pipe end of the hose and using your fingertips to unscrew it. No tool required just a few seconds of using your fingertips.

I am very happy with the new Waterpik, the hose position adjusts easily, the spray is full, powerful, yet gentle. If you are like me I wash my hair with the head at different position than when when showering. This is where the flex hose is fantastic. I also towel and exit at the front. Swinging the head out of the way keeps those final drops of water off your towel dry body. And, having the flex hose makes for cleaning a simple job too.

Finally, the new Waterpik has rubber nozzles. This, I assume, will make cleaning any plugged nozzles easy using a push pin or needle.

Customer Review: Better than the old one
Summary: 5 Stars

Looked for a long time for this product. A little different than my 10 year old model, but the difference is better.

Customer Review: Broke on installation
Summary: 1 Stars

Just sent an email to WaterPik asking for a refund. The design on this thing is flimsy at best. Three minutes out of the blister pak and wham, broken. Nice.

Customer Review: Couldn't live without it!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had a water-pik shower head since they were first developed and only came in white. The only thing about them is if you bend the goose-neck too much and too many times, eventually the skin will break. Of course, this was over about 17 years!! Wouldn't live without it, it's wonderful! Can be adjusted with one hand to either flow over the head, under the head (does not get my wife's hair wet) or spot-place it for soothing water massage. I bought one for each bathroom this time.

Customer Review: Disappointing
Summary: 2 Stars

We had the older model of this showerhead so figured the new one would be even better. We have been disappointed in it because like others have said, it will not stay in the correct position and creaks when you move it. It also does not have the great water flow that previous versions have had. The final nail in the coffin was when we moved and tried to get it off, the threading area was so cheap that it broke off when removing it. And we had only had it on the shower for a year.
