I purchased this shower head along with some other items. When I took it out of the package it was hard not to notice that it was cheaply made. The unit gave you the impression it was going to fall apart in your hands. I put it in the master bath. When I used it, I found you had to hold the stationary part of it to turn the dial to select a spray pattern. If you didn't the whole thing would turn. I was afraid to tighten it to much to the outlet pipe for fear of cracking it. I put the old one back up and put this one in the spare bath. I gave it two stars because water did come out of it, but that's about it.Customer Review: Once I got it working it was great!

This shower head is easy to install. You just take it out of the box, screw it on by hand, and you're ready to go. So I thought. I installed it and NO WATER AT ALL came out of the shower head. I tried changing every setting on it and still nothing. I took the shower head off and read the directions on the inside of the package and it said you can get more performance out of it by unscrewing and removing the restrictor. So I unscrewed it and removed it and re-installed the shower head and WOW! I haven't gotten that much pressure from that shower EVER! I can actually feel the water pressure on my skin and it feels like I'm rinsed better and my hair is rinsed cleaner. I love it!!! Not sure why nothing came out when I first tried it but I recommend taking the restrictor out and enjoying some serious water pressure!Customer Review: Quality Product

Over the past 10 year, this is the second one of this type of showerhead I've purchased, and I love it. Granted, you have to have a shower pipe that is the right height for you because there are limitations on how this turns; however, that is true with any showerhead.
I do have three recommendations for the user:
1) When you go to change the settings, use both hands: one to hold it and the other to turn the knob. This just makes sense when using anything where one portion remains stationary and another portion turns.
2) Use some of the plumbers tape around the pipe end before you screw this on. With all the movement, this helps to keep the connection tight.
3) Take it off occasionally and dip it in some vinegar and a drop of bleach to remove the hard water deposits (or clay residue since I live in the south) as well as sanitize it (to avoid any mold).
As a side note, if you ever use this in a hotel, condo, etc. and find that it doesn't work, don't consider this to be a bad product. People abuse items in those locations and I'm guessing 75% of the time something won't work right because of the overuse or incorrect usage.

This was the best upgrade you can get to an old show head *replace it*. It was easy to install and use, my only concern is I will now increase my water bill by spending too long in the shower.
