This is an excellent product; it is very competitively price, and lasts much longer. When you buy one of the other filters which only last 6 months to a year, and spend $20 each, this becomes a bargain. It comes with all the necessary hardware for a re-install (not new install) (meaning it has new copper adapters, no copper line) if you already have the line run, (copper line is best), this install is quick and easy. Even without the copper line, the problem is just running the copper line, not this product. Water tastes good, and I'm extremely picky about my water, I only drink certain bottled waters as well, as taste does change between brands. After a month of use to get it broken in I believe I can share my brief experience with this filter. First off, installation was really easy. Less than 30 minutes (don't forget to 'flush' it for five minutes). The water I had previously smelled and tasted like pool water. It seemed to have a more than acceptable amount of chlorine going by smell alone. As soon as I plugged this filter in instantly odorless tasteless water came out. Also, very recently some maintenance was done to the city pipes turning all the water in the house brown for a short while. Sinks, toilets, hose, everything that is except the fridge attached to this filter was clearly brown. Hands down side by side comparison this filter does an awesome job. If you want a better sense of security and want to remove the nasties that end up in your water get this filter.Customer Review: Finally more than 6 months between changes.

Easy install, would have been 5 stars, but it doesn't have any way to 'hang" or attach it. It is fairly heavy compared to most filters which are only 6 month filters. To avoid moving the refrigerator, I have a longer hose on it so it is hung above it on the wall. It is nice not having to change filters every 4-6 months. So far, taste and clarity are very good. Got rid of the plastic taste and clorine "flavor" in the water.Customer Review: GREAT WATER FILTER

THIS IS A GREAT FILTER. HOOKED IT UP TO A DISPENSING FAUCET FROM A CULLIGAN 2 STAGE UNDER SINK FILTER. WITH THE CULLIGAN, THE WATER SMELLED LIKE ROTTEN EGGS AFTER CHANGING THE FILTER INSERTS (2) WITH ONLY 1 WEEK OF USE. ( CONTACTED CULLIGAN AND NEVER HEARD FROM THEM). JUST TOOK OUT THAT UNIT AND REPLACED IT WITH THE WATTS AND HOOKED IT UP TO THE FAUCET FROM THE CULLIGAN.
WORKS GREAT NO MORE SMELL AND COSTLY FILTER REPLACEMENTS. LOVE IT! USE IT DAILY FOR GREAT TASTING COFFEE
WILL BUY ANOTHER TO REPLACE ONE IN OUR WINTER HOME IN FLORIDA
